Healthy and Tasty Breakfast Ideas

Hey y’all! Today, I will be sharing three of my favorite breakfast items with you!

I personally am not the biggest breakfast person, and usually just settle for a latte.

However,  recently I have found some things that have are quick & pretty tasty ๐Ÿ˜‹

1. Crepes

Crepes are super simple to make, yet absolutely delicious! They take about 10 minutes to make and all of the ingredients are pretty basic! It’s also a nice change from the typical waffle or pancake!

Here’s the recipe I use:

Ingredients (serves 4)

2 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 cup flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup water

2 tablespoons of melted butter

Fruit

Nutella/chocolate syrup

Whipped cream

Instructions:

Once you have mixed all the ingredients together with a blender, in the order they are listed, you need to pour it into a large measuring cup. After greasing a medium sized frying pan, pour about 1/3 of the mixture onto the pan. You will want to swirl the pan to ensure it spreads out, depending on how large and thin you want it to be. Cook until both sides are golden brown. Then, you can just stuff the inside with fruit and whipped cream!

2. Smoothies

Smoothies are a great addition to your morning, especially if you are in a hurry or just want something light. They are refreshing and healthy, which is always a plus ๐Ÿ˜‰

3. Breakfast Burrito

Breakfast Burritos are a little more time consuming, but definitely so worth it. They are savory and delicious!

Here’s my recipe:

Ingredients (serves 2)

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 mini pepper

Tortilla

Shredded cheese

Hot sauce/salsa (optional)

Instructions:

First, chop the pepper. Second, grease the pan and fry the peppers for about a minute. Meanwhile, crack your eggs and mix them with the milk. Afterwards, add them to the pan. Scramble the eggs and let them cook for about 3-5 minutes. Add the cheese. Place your eggs to the center of the tortilla. I like to add some hot sauce, however salsa would work as well!

I hope you found this helpful, and maybe even try out some of these recipes! If not, at least you had fun reading this ๐Ÿ˜‰

All the best,

~Erin~
