Hope in the Storm

Some Christians think that because they trust in God everything suddenly becomes perfect and they live in their own perfect world then when trials come they turn away and say God isn’t good and he doesn’t really care about them. But we have to hold on to the truth that God doesn’t put these things in our life  to hurt us but to strengthen us.

We still should have a hallelujah when the storm is never ending when the battle seem to press on when we are in a season of waiting. Sometime choosing just to sing in the midst of your struggle could be the thing that changes everything.

In the troubling and hard times it is important to remember in our rejoicing that’s when God can meet with us.I’m sure this year there are going to be thing that we don’t want to be experiencing, trials we don’t want to walk through, but in those times don’t lose hope.

God is bringing you through the hard times to make us stronger and sometimes God teaches us something, when we surrender to him the whole situation.

God can use the bad things in our lives to teach us something. Sometimes when we ask for strength he’ll give us the circumstances to strengthen us. Romans 8:28 which is one of my favorite verses says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

It says that they will only work to for those that love God and trust him. If we allow him to help us through trial he can make the most out of the things that we think are going to hurt us the most.

Being a Christian in the trials means that we have a friend that can help us through it. It doesn’t mean we get a free ticket out of anything hard. So next time you are tempted to give up on God. Seek him out. He can be found.

I hope this helps you in whatever you are walking through.

Stay encouraged friends! -Authentically Allison
