{Be Where Your Feet Are}

Hey, friends! We have entered graduation season! Oh what scary, but happy times! Today I have something on my heart I’d like to share with you all:)) it’s short and sweet! 

I heard a quote a few months ago that read, ‘Be where your feet are’. This made me think, and gave me a new reminder to appreciate where I am, while I’m here. 

Like many, I’m graduating this year:)) Exciting things are happening, and I congratulate the class of 2022! Good things are coming. 

This title above was a quote that (almost) made it in my graduation speech. Why? Because it reminds me to stay still. 

You know, we tend to always be looking for the next thing. Our hearts grow anxious that way, and we miss out on the joys of today. 

Stop. Look at where you’re at. Embrace it. 

To the graduates, don’t forget to soak up every bit of this special time. You will look back on this stage in life for years. Enjoy. It. 

Stay in the moment, friends! God has you where He wants you. Stay still.

With the craziness with graduation details and the college preparation craziness, it’s been hard to stop and enjoy it. The overwhelming to-do lists are never ending, but I’ve had to stop and remind myself; Mikayla—you’ve dreamt about this for years. Enjoy this exciting stage. I’m starting a brand new chapter, and what am I doing? Stressing about what I have to do, haha! The Lord has given me a few wake up calls—reminding me to be in the moment.

Consider this your reminder to be where your feet are. God has placed you here. Right now. 

Graduate or not, you can embrace your today❤️
