-Count it All Joy-

Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk to you about joy and finding joy in all things. Joy sometimes comes hard, but we have to trust that God has a bigger and better purpose for us!

Life throws temptations, trials, and hardships at us. Those things can come over us with an abundance of pain, confusion or even anger. 

There is one verse in the Bible that tells us to find joy in these things. John 1:2 - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. 

Don't you hate it when you are talking to someone and all that talk about is how horrible there day or life is going? Yeah, I have encountered a few of those. I just want to tell them that they should give their problems to Jesus and start living in joy.

When we are ultimately more joyful, we can have peace as Christians. The world looks at joy in depressing ways, but as Christians we can find joy in the hope of Heaven someday. 

Some people may get the terms "Joy" and "Happiness" mixed up. I can assure you they have two different meanings. Joy is knowing deep in your heart that things are gonna be "ok" even when you want to be angry or want to take it out on other people. However, this wouldn't be the reflection of Christ. Happiness is being happy genuinely. 

Jesus doesn't look for perfection and look for us to always look put together. Sometimes we just have to break down and it is really nice to have a friend who can see what is going on and help you. Jesus is the friend when we don't have people that believe in us here on Earth. 

It is ok to not be ok sometimes, but we need to find reasons to be grateful and to be joyful in those situations. God made us tears for a reason. It is ok to cry when we feel hurt or afraid. God is there to help you through all the struggle.

Being joyful is hard, but God can meet you in the struggle. Even in the darkest times of our lives we can find hope and joy in Christ.
