Strength For Tomorrow

Do you ever feel used or unappreciated? Many people pray, "Lord please use me," but later they forget. They feel used, so they just give up. O
ften, the reason that we struggle so much is because we forget to wait on God.

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Waiting on God may not be exactly what we think it will be. The word "wait" means to look for hope. Waiting doesn't mean you sit around all day and do nothing.

When you try to do things for others in your own strength, it's draining. You can't exactly hope for the best without any backup, and when things go wrong..you feel exhausted.

However, when you are fully trusting God, you have a passion to just do His Will. You know that even if things go wrong, He is still in control.

Remember C.S. Lewis said, "Hardships often prepares an ordinary person for an extraordinary destiny." The road be long, and the way might be rough, but Friend you can make it! There will be strength to walk another mile.

Wait on Him, and he will give you strength.

So today I challenge you...
What have you been trying to do in your own strength? Have you been waiting on God?
