In the Shadow of the Almighty 

Have you ever thought you were in someone's shadow? I know I have. You wake up feeling like you can't be yourself. You feel like your accomplishments will never measure up to that person you feel that you are inferior too. Life becomes a rut, trying to be yourself, but you just don't seem to know how.

As humans, it is only natural for us to want to be accepted. However, we often look for acceptance in the wrong places. Searching for our identity in a hobby, a career, or even a person is just a waste of time, when we are already so loved and accepted by our Creator. 

When you find your identity in Christ, you will begin to see yourself as He sees you. According to Ephesians 1, we are all chosen, redeemed, forgiven, loved, and accepted. So you don't have to wonder anymore who you are. You don't have to worry about living in someone's shadow, because you are God's child. You are under the shadow of the Almighty.
